Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum

Situated at 5600 Holy Cross Road in Caledonia, Holy Cross Cemetery spans 29 peaceful acres and serves as the primary hub of our main office for the Catholic Cemetery Association of Racine. Established in 1929 as local Catholic communities continued to grow south of 5 Mile Road, church leaders including Archbishop Messmer moved forward with acquiring this land to accommodate future generations.

The property provides families a complete range of choices including traditional in-ground burials, mausoleum crypt entombment, and columbarium inurnment.

Within the grounds, Holy Cross features St. Francis Meadow, a dedicated green burial site. This area is actively being restored as a natural prairie populated with native Wisconsin pollinator-friendly plants and flowers, offering an environmentally sustainable and peaceful resting place in harmony with nature.
