At the Catholic Cemetery Association of Racine, we are driven by our sacred mission to serve our community and perform the Corporal Work of Mercy of burying the dead. Since 1842, we have acted as stewards of blessed grounds—including Calvary and Old Holy Cross in Racine, as well as Holy Family and Holy Cross in Caledonia—that stand as a visible testimonial of our faith and the promise of the Resurrection.
Operating on behalf of our local parishes, we provide specialized care and Catholic Funeral Rites designed to bring comfort and hope to grieving families. Guided by the creed of the National Catholic Cemetery Conference, we remain dedicated to the careful stewardship of these holy grounds while pledging to uphold the highest standards of dignity and grace, ensuring that our work honors God and fulfills our sacred duty to His children.
Holy Ground
The Catholic Church reserves two places here on earth: those destined for divine worship, and those set apart for the burial of the faithful. Racine Catholic Cemeteries have been entrusted with the burial of the faithful since 1842. The Catholic Cemetery Association of Racine, Inc. is committed to the stewardship of our Catholic Cemeteries. Our caring staff help to perform corporal and spiritual acts of mercy: caring for the dead and comforting the living. Racine’s four Catholic Cemeteries – and the people of God they hold – are a testament to the Communion of Saints and the Hope of the Resurrection.
